The Gas Safety – Understanding of Hydrocarbon Gases programme by LMA provides participants with a comprehensive foundation in hydrocarbon gas characteristics, hazard identification, safety principles, and operational controls. The course is aligned with relevant IMO requirements, including the principles of the International Code for the Construction and Equipment of Ships Carrying Liquefied Gases in Bulk (IGC Code), the International Code of Safety for Ships Using Gases or Other Low-Flashpoint Fuels (IGF Code), and applicable SOLAS safety principles.
